Disability Support Worker – Make a Real Difference Every Day!

Biala Support Services is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred supports to NDIS participants, aligned with their individual goals and support needs. We offer casual and permanent part-time opportunities, with employment type determined based on your experience and suitability for the position.

You’ll work across various settings, delivering services that could include:

• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
• Supporting social and community participation
• Promoting skill development and capacity building
• Medication assistance and behaviour observation
• Providing transport and mobility support
• Recording participant progress and maintaining accurate documentation
• Supports participants in building confidence and skills to explore job opportunities and succeed in work that’s meaningful to them.

You’ll also ensure confidentiality, dignity, and professionalism in every interaction, while being a positive and respectful representative of Biala in the community.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about making a difference in people’s lives
• Organised, reliable, and adaptable to changing needs
• A great communicator and team player
• Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to use electronic documentation systems
• Committed to high-quality service and participant wellbeing

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in disability, aged care, or community services
• Understanding of the NDIS sector and person-centred practices
